What We Believe

  1.  We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God – We believe what God says in the Holy Bible, in both the Old and New Testaments. (2 Tim 3:16-17)
  2.  We believe in the Trinity – God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. They are three separate but equal persons of the Godhead – 3 in 1. (Matt 28:19) 
  3.  We believe God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1-4)
  4. We believe God made man and women in His image and likeness. (Genesis 1:27)
  5.  We believe in the sacred institution of marriage between one man and one woman, which is ordained and blessed by God. (Matt 19:4-6)
  6. We believe in the Ten Commandments, still in effect today. (Exodus 20:1-17)
  7.  We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ the Son. (Matt 1:18-25)
  8. We believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh to redeem mankind back to God. (Colossians 1:13-14)
  9.  We believe that Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross, died, and was placed in a tomb. (Matt 27:59-61)
  10. We believe that Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead on the third day after His death. (1 Cor 15:4)
  11.  We believe that Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven. (Heb 10:11-14)
  12.  We believe in water baptism at an accountable age. (Acts 2:38)
  13.  We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. (Mark 16:17)
  14.  We believe that the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit are still in effect today. (1 Cor 12:1; 8-11)
  15.  We believe in the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit and that they should be evident today in ministry and in the life of the believer. (Gal 5:22)
  16.  We believe that, as disciples of Jesus Christ, we are called to be Christ-like. (Eph 5:1-2)
  17.  We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ as the Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah. (Rev 5:5)
  18.  We believe that Jesus (the Bridegroom) is coming back for a church (His bride) that is without spot or wrinkle. (Eph 5:27)
  19.  We believe that the dead in Christ shall rise first and they that are alive and believe in Him shall be caught up. (1 Thess 4:13-18)
  20.  We believe that no one knows the day or time that God is sending His Son Jesus back for His church. (Matt 24:36)
  21.  We believe that those who live a holy and righteous life in Christ Jesus will inherit eternal life through their faith. (1 John 2:1-2)
  22.  We believe that without the shedding of blood there would be no remission of sins. (Heb 9:22)
  23.  We believe that Jesus was the sacrificial lamb sent by God to atone for our sins. (1 Peter 1:18-21)
  24.  We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ washes and cleanses us of our sins through our confession and repentance. (Titus 3:5)
  25. We believe that God the Father has highly exalted His Son and given Him a name that is above every other name. (Philippians 2:9)
  26.  We believe there is a real Heaven and a real Hell. (John 5:29) 
  27.  We believe that Jesus Christ put the devil to an open shame, triumphing over him. (Colossians 2:15)
  28.  We believe in the five-fold ministry: the offices of the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. (Eph 4:11)
  29.  We believe in the judicial (exousia) and dynamite (dunamis) power Jesus gave to His church to glorify His name on the earth and carry out His will. (Acts 1:8)
